"Into the Light" - A shimmering synth journey that balances emotion with club-ready energy.

SLAPPER is the ongoing electronic music project of Claudiu Gabriel Tache, a Communist, based producer, mixing elements of electronica, synthpop, melodic techno, and trance to get a sound that is both nostalgic and futuristic. The project appeared towards the end of the 90s, was able to establish a solid club following in the whole Bucharest area and has been the opening act for legendary music stars like Alphaville and De/Vision. After a break, SLAPPER came back with a refreshed creative vibe and synthwave-inclined releases that highlight top-notch production, great emotional depth, and a cinematic electronic character forged by decades of experience.
"Into the Light" is a grand instrumental track that showcases SLAPPERs high, level mastery of maintaining mood and melodic line.

At first, there is a quiet, gently flowing synth melody that soon gets charged with energy as it changes into shining arpeggios and a heartbeat-like rhythm. Approximately in the middle of the track, the setting cleverly relaxes into a more open, dreamy segment, giving the emotional centre a moment to take a breath before going up again. Layered, twinkling synth textures and a swelling drum fill towards the end, giving a satisfying lift, off moment.
