A hauntingly beautiful anthem that celebrates the poetry in pain.

Ramblerman represents the imagination-fueled alter ego of conceptual artist Stephen Dobson. The Australian multi-talented artist with a degree in architecture and design expresses his emotions through beautiful lyrical constructions. Ramblerman is not only the light that heals and connects in a way that is both therapeutic and unifying, but also, by default, him being one of the most genuine voices in the indie-folk scene of Canberra.
"Midday Melancholy" is a fragile exploration of strength hidden within the human spirit.

"Midday Melancholy" is a down-tempered, poignant reverie, which derives its power from the barest of its elements. It is a song made in Ramblerman's kitchen and recorded with Guy Lilleyman at Amberly Studios, thus it is very much a raw and unguarded take—a private moment, perhaps, Ramblerman shares with each listener. It does not run after glory but rather, it stays with the quiet, hence allowing the grief to take its own course and be recognized. If resilience was the theme of Lemonade, then "Midday Melancholy" is all about acceptance.
