"Peace?" - A highly intense, thought-provoking reflection on violence, survival, and social unrest.

Recognized for his ability to craft lyrics with precision, tell stories through rap, and portray deep Islamic thoughts in his writing, KXNG Crooked definitely has the audience in his palm. The Game, however, still stands among the very few who can boast of having the most impactful voices in West Coast hip-hop and is also identified for his raw narration and emotion-filled honesty. Independent producer HZPROD manages to merge both artists through his War Torn project, which is a confluence of cinematic production and humanitarian themes.
"Peace?" is a testament to conscious hip-hop being a tool to confront real-world conflicts, at the same time that it is personal and captivating.

Addressing the consequences of violence and conflict, "Peace? " is a reflective and quite intense hip-hop piece focused on the theme of harsh realities. Through the use of slow percussion and a suspense-creating melody, HZPROD generates a somber and fairly cinematic mood which is a perfect match for the theme. KXNG Crooked presents a mesmerizing verse with his incisive remarks on war, the role of media, and worldwide anguish, whereas The Game zooms in on matters of street violence and the difficulties within neighborhoods. The piece does not provide straightforward answers but rather prompts the audience to ponder the concept of peace in the contemporary world. It is the sincerity of "Peace? " and the vivid storytelling together that make it a remarkable piece.
