The video is her third rendition of Kyiv, Ukraine, showing its resilience and stubbornness, which she shot with the help of talented director Pavlo Khomiuk. “Perfume” was mixed by Liam Noland, who is also associated with Adele, and mastered by Stuart Hawkes, producer for Amy Winehouse. The song was inspired by the book “Perfume” and the ensuing movie. The song adapts a very similar tone and scenario where a boy who falls in love with Kelsie follows her around Kyiv, intoxicated by her scent. Unlike the book, Kelsie decided to keep the song’s soul lively and uplifting instead of the dark turn.

"It's intriguing how love holds such strong powers, and this song has proven that in detail."

The video shows Kelsie calmly walking around the city, with delicate sprinkles of idleness and embrace. The video direction is flawless, poignant, and it walks you through a bunch of eloquent feelings that only she can evoke in us. Although the theme of the song was calm and soft. After the shoot was done, Kelise and her crew went for dinner at a cafe, where a Russian attack drone struck nearby, proving fatal to a 15-year-old girl, Mariya Troyanovskaya. This song is dedicated to her and her beautiful soul.
