"Pretend Love" - A vulnerable bedroom confession hidden beneath the layers of a dreamy indie sound.

Harry Stock is a rising indie artist from Reigate, England, who is introducing a new voice in the bedroom pop realm. Apart from writing and producing his own music, Harry combines very personal lyrics with light synths and beautiful guitar melodies. With the help of his best friend Callum, they create songs which can be both a little bit private and a big celebration of the feelings that one falls in love for the first time and also discovers oneself. By using a DIY recording method and having a strong artistic direction, Harry is one of the new wave of musicians who turn their life stories into converting musical experiences.
Pretend Love is about the quiet sadness of discovering that the relationship is over.

It was done at Harry Stock's home studio, giving it a very genuine and raw feeling with every word spoken straight from the heart. Lush synths mix with harsh guitar sounds, is a brilliant mix of bedroom pop and heavy indie guitar. Emotionally, the song is about being half there and not fully in love, but without getting too theatrical, as it allows its eloquent, melancholy tunes to be the only voice. For a first release, it is indeed a bold statementhonest, thoughtful, and musically captivating.
