"About Me" - A glossy earworm that dances first and thinks later is a smart, playful pop with just the right amount of swagger.

Studious B is the stage name of Brian C. Taylor, a filmmaker and writer. He writes conceptually driven alternative pop music that mixes social critique with dancefloor vibes. Taylor, an emotionally vulnerable songwriter, really puts his resilience, sobriety, and mental health through personal lenses to create catchy synth tunes.
He collaborates very closely with his wife, Dawn Taylor, and they are slowly moving towards a more balanced, melodically rich sound and are getting ready to bring the Studious B live in 2026.
"About Me" is an intentionally cheerful alternative pop number that is absolutely catchy.

There is a trace of The Human League, yet the tune also draws on the velvety sound of Depeche Mode and the humorous, dramatic Sparks, and it smartly blends the glam of the old with the new pep.
The record's boy-girl vocal closeness maintains the spirit of the dancing; the beat, however, is just too good to resist. Under the beauty of the surface, there is an intelligent self, awareness, and an unpacking of overconfidence and social misreads in a very sly way, without any loss of its playfulness.
