A 13-song album blending rock, pop, and classical elements with a soulful ride of deep vocals, melodies, and timeless storytelling.

Alex Wellkers is a singer-songwriter and alt-rock artist with a very old soul. The artist’s music induces intense feelings and depth in his voice. Sometimes his music will make you feel connected to existence, and at other times it will make you feel like a distant, faraway land. His music will make you stop and listen. The changing melodies and complex rhythms entangle with your thoughts. The artist's vocals are valleys of emotion. He released numerous EPs before he shared his debut.
There are a few songs that have an edge, called “We Knew It All”, which opens Alex’s album with an intro harp by Mercedes Bralo with some violins and acoustic cymbals with guitar and piano; it’s a beautiful composition.
Talking about the few other songs, “Give Me the Keys” starts with a melancholic touch with a pop and rock track in the background. Followed by “see me there”, he created a slow song with a nice flow that feels like it develops gradually. The next song is “Desert Island” with a very pleasant piano feel and with electric guitars combined with enriching vocals. The next song is “There Are Cars” with a fine string of melody with a bit of duet. There are cars, there are planes, and there are buses; they all take you through the United States, which is an interesting song to listen to.

Followed by “Alles Nicht So Schlimm”, an amazing song with a deep voice and accentuating lyrics. Next comes “Tu Es Ici”; the song is gentle with a harmonic approach. Next comes “She Will Say” and “The Key,” which are nicely driven songs with drums and guitars, and an alternative rock fan will definitely enjoy this. Next comes “Mystic Saint” with a leading guitar and his voice, which makes the song very lively, and next comes “What Are You Searching For”, which is cool and groovy. This is followed by “Now Pages Have Been Turned”, which reminds me of folk music and ballad style; this song is completely different from the songs sung before. “Au Revoir” at the end of the album is a lengthy song of 6.5 minutes; the song with a deep narrative is the one that everybody should listen to.
“Reach the Stars” takes you on a soulful ride with rich sounds and deep emotion.

The thirteen-song album lasts 50 minutes. Reaching the stars starts with deep beats and then a soulful vibe with more beats and drums, with intense vocals with dramatic rock and pop, with instruments combined, giving a feel to hear more. With plenty of classical instruments in the background, like strings and harps, the album combines piano and guitar tracks simultaneously. All of his songs are mixed by Stephan Steiner and mastered by Dan Suter, who have been an incredible support in his journey. The song has more vulnerable lyrics, unfolding a more intimate layer to the album.
The creations have been heard and loved by the audience worldwide. His track is an amalgamation of rock and pop with lots of instruments used, like piano, violin, tenor, and drums. The track builds up to its bridge, where deep vocals mesmerize the audience. These types of vocals are present throughout the album, but here it's something else.
His vocals and melodies bring a shift and change altogether, which always keeps you on your toes, while the rhythms and drums in the background will tangle with your thoughts, and it will make you feel surprisingly personal. His vocals are deep, emotional, and honest; he does not just compose or tell a story, he makes you feel it. “Reach the stars” is an absolute heaven to listen to, and Alex gives a magical touch to each of his compositions. Listening to his album is something else; he is sharing pieces of himself through his songs and gives you space to find your own story in them as well. Attaching the link below to his album.
