“Movement”: An emotional musical track blending classical training, life experience, and alternative pop.

Valkyrie's Bard studied piano in her early years. She then became a nationally recognised tattoo artist for fifteen years before returning to songwriting in her late thirties. She draws on real life, not industry recipes, to create her music, giving her songs a lot of feelings and true appeal. Valkyrie's Bard is becoming a leading independent voice in cinematic dark pop with her raw, honest sound.
"Movement" begins really softly, nearly a whisper, but then makes its way to a brave, movie-like climax.

It is derived from the modus operandi of Chappell Roan and Lady Gaga - theatrical pop music with heartfelt lyrics and a touch of folk. Death is not the final point; it is the method through which individuals join together. It seems hard to ignore how the song turns sorrow into connection. The emotional arc feels active rather than just described. The personal tone carries more weight than any grand performance. The increasing complexity of music reflects the change in feelings as the person who was alone eventually finds friends who understand him/her. The track seems frank and purposeful, not too perfect in a way that can be pre-recorded, which enhances its effect. "Movement" is a remarkable independent pop piece that features a heavy emotional side and a sort of mission.
