Nicola Giacobbe is an artist from Rome who blends memories, art, and music into powerful soundscapes.

Nicola Giacobbe is an incredible artist who finds energy in opposites - between the personal and the universal, the rough and polished, the old and the new. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Nicola had always been carrying with him bits and pieces of music, memories, and meanings. This is an album that serves as a visual record of ideas from 2003 to 2017. It is not really an album of finished works, but the discarded ideas of those periods in between the years that have been collected and presented together.
"Tutti in Attesa" is a collection of raw ideas turned into an emotional journey of rock and ambient sounds.
"Tutti in Attesa," Italian for 'Everyone Waiting', was recorded at his home; this piece of work is so detail-oriented that you will fall for his album. Every single song is just like a ripped-out diary page, heavily influenced by the personal life of the author. He is inspired by Classical Literature, paintings, and art in general, and when it comes to music, he is inclined towards thrash metal, post-rock, ambient, death metal, doom, and psychedelic rock. The music he composes is hard to put in a genre; the tracks are ambient metal-like structures, though he never forgets to add nostalgia to the pieces.
The energy of Metallica and the mystery of Angelo Badalamenti are just two among the countless influences that can be heard in his work, with his personality shining at the top. “Oltre il confine” is another great example that reflects the philosophical side of his music, where he uses literature and visual arts as an inspiration for the sound adventure.
“Tutti in Attesa” brings every piece of music to a new journey to the world of the subconscious mind, a place where neither time nor space exists and where feelings manifest themselves. Through his album, he proves that music, when born in the most humble of situations, has the power to go beyond limitations and become something eternal.
A highlight of the "Tutti in Attesa" album is "Incontro sul ponte", which is a progressive metal piece sculpting rhythm with guitar riffs with the most amazing latter half, the whole journey is very organic and can be honestly felt through his medium. “Tutti in Attesa” has an air of atmospheric rock, the name thus suggesting such a change of style. The sound is more spacious, which is also quite emotional and delicate, causing the listener to really quickly dive into the world of imagination.

It is one of the most beautiful songs from the album, and along with it goes the starkly contrasting “Al manicomio” – feels like a joyful celebration, blending his performances with an essential framework and extremely beautiful foundation of melodies heard, and the lasting soundscape keeps on ringing throughout the album. Then we have “Mandir”, an amazing electric track with guitar riffs throughout, and “La collina” is the sweetest melody that you will hear in this album; this has a smooth guitar base. Nicola Giacobbe's eclectic and original compositions are so immersive that you can easily lose yourself in them for a while.
Nicolai Giacobbe makes music with a very clear artistic sense and a limitless love for music and rock as a whole. "Tutti in Attesa" is an amazing mixture of recollections, visual images, and unpolished sounds. Nicola Giacobbe is definitely an artist who makes his art with his heart, very inviting for the listener to explore their depths. To be more precise, it is an emotional tour throughout the entire universe—one that is deep and eternal.
