Kristen is known for her ethereal sound and draws comparisons to LÉON, The Japanese House, and MARO. Castro's journey has seen growth, connection & pushing artistic boundaries, as well as unique storytelling.

“Summer Rain” isn’t just a song — it’s a moment of catharsis, healing, and self-discovery.

"Summer Rain" by Kristen is her second single from her debut album "Capricorn Baby". It's a dreamy track and feels like a perfect soundtrack for a golden hour drive. Her beautiful aura has blended shimmering synths and heartfelt lyrics, and soft guitar lines; it's a song that captures both the loss & beauty of transformation. This track was originally written in 2020 and is now released 5 years later; Summer Rain reflects her rebirth.

This track evolved into a vibrant, genre-blurring summer anthem, recorded and mixed across Tennessee, California, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, and Rome — all stitched together by Castro herself.

Inspired by the remix textures of MUNA and the emotive guitar work of The 1975, the track pairs lush production with raw honesty. Castro describes it as “the encapsulation of ego death,” evoking the feeling of warm rain on your skin as you let go of the past and step into something new.
