"Step into Jacqueline’s Chromaverse, where sound blooms into color and every note tells a story."

"Illusions of Amethyst" is the perfect first look at Jacqueline Cordes’ album Frozen Star. Jacqueline Cordes, a 22-year-old composer from Los Angeles who experiences synesthesia - seeing colors when she hears music, adding a rich picture to her sound. This sound feels gentle and true to emotion, with every note having a deep meaning and color in mind. The tone of the music is simple yet powerful, and it lets the mystery flow naturally.
"Illusions of Amethyst" is paired with a haunting music video. It moves with a gentle, minor-key grace, wrapping the listener in an atmosphere of mystery and emotion, while evoking rich shades of purple in the mind’s eye.
This music matches the mood, moving like a dream between light and shadow. While her debut, Singularity, explored huge worlds across time, this song feels closer and more personal, yet still magical. It’s a small but vivid window into her “Chromaverse,” where every track opens a door to a new world—one you can both hear and see.
