"Good Dreams" feels like a hug at the end of a long day, giving comfort to all the right places in your mind.

The song talks to you on a spiritual level with each of its elements, including the lyrical and rhythmic parts. Higher Selves Playdate is an alt-rock duo hailing from Fairfax, Virginia. This duo approaches the musical art form in a very unique, gentle way, infusing it with poetic fragments. Jessica and Steve met while they were in graduate school, studying poetry. Jessica is now an art professor, and Steve works in non-profit organizations.

"Higher Selves Playdate's main motto for life is to enjoy it."
The duo believes that life already has so many troubles and struggles, so they might as well go through it with a warm, playful mindset, and with this latest release, "Good Dreams," they express how they believe in the universe and themselves. Sheltering a soft, dreamy atmosphere, this record pushes you to look at life more joyfully.
