How about entering a world where every sound felt like a little candle going out in the dark?

Gothic Aesthetic is a Paris-based duo made up of songwriter/producer Savage and vocalist Savannah. Their first album, Tales of the Dark Forest, was released by them. The record is not just a set of songs, but a ten-episode dramatic experience that combines gothic metal, cinematic rock, and dark wave.
“Tales of the Dark Forest” - A hauntingly cinematic debut, Gothic Aesthetic, that turns the midnight hour into dawn.

Indeed, each song represents an original and vivid story – the delight of revenge in Witch, a melancholic sacrament in Bride of Shadows, and the spectral goodbye in Final Bell. The music is lavish and gripping, for it employs a full orchestra, a choir repeating the words, and a heavy guitar strum. Gothic Aesthetic, unlike most metal bands, doesn't use screaming, so the vocals are deep, emotive, and intentionally of a theatrical nature, which not only horror but also certain elegance, helps to evoke an atmosphere.
If these were your favorite bands: Type O Negative, Moonspell, or Powerwolf, you would certainly fall in love with this album that tells the story of love, ritual, and destruction set to music.
