"Going Wild" by Sandro Ferro: Where accuracy meets absolute freedom.

Sandro Ferro is a Swiss-British electronic producer whose energetic dance music has been very influential for more than 20 years. He has been around since 2003 and is known for his skill of blending house, drum and bass, and mainstream dance to one uplifting yet still strong sound. His works are a perfect mixture of the demand for the crowd and the carefully detailed studio approach, thus giving birth to the tracks that are meant to both connect and energise.
“Going Wild” is a representation of Sandro Ferro’s fearless approach; he combines high-energy dance with subtle Nordic folk-inspired textures.

The song is a rescue from the hustle and bustle of modern life because it is very groovy and fast-paced. It is driven by a very well-done percussion consisting of crisp and tightly sculpted synths. Besides every transition being a showcase of Ferro’s unmatched production precision, the track is very warm and human.
Just a few drum-and-bass elements contribute to the overall tension of the house-driven pulse, thus making it impossible for the listener to stand still. The bits where the music stops and then starts again are very controlled, but at the same time, they can be quite loud and, therefore, make a great collective movement on the dance floor. “Going Wild” is very deliberate, very live, and, at the same time, very physical — a song that gets to the point where it is most alive in that moment when the dancer’s instinct takes over, and restraint is nowhere to be found.
