   “International Power” came from a very real place in my life. I’ve spent over two decades building businesses, navigating global systems, and learning what it actually means to lead, not just in title, but in presence. As I stepped into music, I encountered a lot of opinions about how things “should” be done—structure, genre, delivery. This track became a way of grounding myself in what I already know. I’m not starting from zero—I’m expanding into a new space with everything I’ve already built. It’s a reflection of stepping into something new without abandoning who you are, and recognising that confidence is something earned over time.

   
   

2. What made you choose a more controlled, minimal sound instead of a louder, more aggressive hip-hop approach?

   Power doesn’t always need to be loud to be felt.

   I wanted the track to feel intentional and composed, like walking into a room and shifting the atmosphere without having to raise your voice. A more minimal approach allowed space for the words and delivery to carry the weight. There’s a difference between noise and presence. This track leans into presence. Because it removes everything else.

   When you open a track a cappella, there’s nothing to hide behind—no beat, no production, just voice and message. It immediately establishes tone and intention.

3. Which ideas or themes were most important for you to express through this song?

   Leadership, legacy, and self-definition. Not leadership in a performative sense, but in a grounded, internal way—knowing who you are and moving with that clarity. Legacy is also important to me, not just in music, but in everything I build. And self-definition—refusing to be confined by expectations or predefined structures. Those themes exist across everything I do, and this song brings them into one space.

   
   

4. How did you approach balancing the rap cadence with the more melodic sections?

   It happens naturally for me because that’s how I think and feel. I don’t experience emotion in one lane, so I don’t create in one lane. There are moments that require a more direct, rhythmic delivery, and others that call for something more melodic and expressive. The balance comes from following the emotional tone of the line or section rather than forcing it into a specific style.

   
   

5. Was there a particular line or moment in the track that defined the whole direction for you?

   “I’m a force of international power.” That line carries the identity of the entire track. Everything builds around it. It’s not just a statement—it’s a recognition of everything behind it: experience, resilience, and long-term vision. Once that was in place, the rest of the song aligned around that centre.

   Entrepreneurship teaches you how to think in systems, long-term strategy, and real-world consequences. That mindset carries into my music. I don’t just create for the moment—I think about impact, structure, and how everything connects. It also shapes the confidence behind the delivery. I’ve walked into rooms where presence mattered more than volume, and that translates directly into how I approach sound and performance. It’s not separate from my music—it’s embedded in it.

   A sense of grounded confidence. Not something loud or temporary, but something steady—like remembering what you’re capable of and where you’re going. I want listeners to feel that they don’t need to fit into predefined spaces to move forward. There’s power in knowing who you are, even if it doesn’t match what others expect.
