“Deal With The Devil” is a dark-pop record of admitting guilt that is bright with the feeling of revolt.

Jerusha is an actor in NYC and a music artist. She has been in The Prom (Broadway) and on FX’s Atlanta (TV series) with Donald Glover. After launching her music career in 2020 with “Aquafina,” she has been playing at the top venues of NYC like The Delancey and The Bitter End. Her single “Deal With The Devil” is a testimony of her not only singing but also taking back her narrative.
“Deal With The Devil” is an eerie and dark-pop rebel song that tells a story of a movie through the use of the lyrics and the music made up of the synths played with the heartbeat rhythm.

The changes in Jerusha's singing from being open and sensitive to authority and power are the signs of the influences of Halsey and Billie Eilish. The track is like a dramatic work, whose every line offers insight into the story of being obsessed, taken advantage of, and reborn. The artist's elaborate work on this record, which is very nice but also creates a feeling of uneasiness, is akin to the narrator's emotional turmoil. “Deal With The Devil” is a very powerful voice and control return that should not be regarded simply as a piece of music; it is an indication that Jerusha is calling the shots, even if she is in hell.
